Ten Percent Foundation Scheme

Ten Percent Foundation Scheme is a non-religious, non-political, non-profit charitable organization, with the idea of helping others.

In 2007, Ten Percnt Foundation Scheme donated HKD 500,000 to Project Hope College Dream, funded 109 college freshmen with financial difficulty across the country. In 2009, Ten Percent Foundation Scheme donated another HKD 1,000,000 to fund 200 college freshmen. In addition, it donated HKD 500,000 for the construction of one Hope Primary School in Yunnan mountainous region, and HKD 100,000 to fund outstanding students from the Project Hope Inspired Action to join a Hong Kong learning tour.

In 2010 and 2011, Ten Percent Foundation Scheme continued to support Project Hope College Dream, donated a total of HKD 2,080,000, and funded 400 college freshmen. In 2011, it donated HKD 500,000 to support CYDF’s first hope community center for migrant children in the suburb of Beijing.  In 2012, the Foundation donated HKD 930,000 for the 172 newly-admitted college freshmen from families struck by 5•30 Mudslide in Min County of Gansu Province.
