In 1993, Coca-Cola started donation to CYDF, as  the first multinational enterprise to donate to Project Hope and one of the largest donors till now.

Coca-Cola has supported Project Hope in many ways. Coca-Cola’s continuous support greatly promoted the innovative development of project Hope, and makes Coca-Cola one of the best charity project partners of Project Hope . For 20 years, Coca-Cola has accumulatively donated more than 150 million yuan to Project Hope.

Soon after the Wenchuan earthquake on May, 12th, 2008, Coca-Cola, donated 20 million yuan to Project Hope for student aid. After that, Coca-Cola donated another 80 million yuan to Project Hope in building 50 Coca-Cola Hope Primary Schools in quake-stricken areas like Sichuan, Shanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Chongqing, Yunnan.
